How the Dove Trust Score works
A trust score is only worth anything if you can audit it. Here is every check, what it weighs, where the data comes from, and what we cannot see.
Weighted, not averaged away
Score = weighted share of earned points over the checks we could evaluate. Hard caps stop a single critical finding being diluted by many harmless passes.
Unknown is never safe
Missing data is excluded from the score and lowers the confidence figure. You always see what we could not verify.
No pay-to-play
Boosts, ads and community-takeover purchases are displayed for transparency but can never raise a score. We take no payment for scores.
Honest limits
We can't see private keys, off-chain promises or X account history. A passing score means the token passed automated checks, nothing more.
Tiers
Score 80+ with confidence 60%+ and no high-severity findings.
Healthy signals, but missing independent confirmation.
Mixed or incomplete evidence.
Several serious red flags.
Critical failure such as a honeypot, confirmed rug or confiscatory tax.
